Maeystown Oktoberfest, Craft, Antique & Food Fair
Experience the sounds and smells of autumn at the historic village of Maeystown. This event features arts, crafts, antiques and food around the stone mill and bridge. More than 50 artisans, crafters, dealers, and numerous food stands will be featured.

Frauenabend/Ladies Night Out
Ladies, this is your night! Bring some friends and join us for shopping, pampering, eating and fun! Come to the center of town where you will find complementary carriage rides and luminaries guiding you to the participating locations.

Old Fashioned German Christmas in Maeystown
Participate in the Weihnachts Fest, a traditional German Christmas, with music, carriage rides, live entertainment, shopping and more. There will be a German carol sing, a traditional carol sing, and the lighting of the village weinachtsbaum, a Christmas Tree, at 4:30 pm. Food and refreshments will be available throughout the day.

Twelfth Night Ball
The Prairie du Rocher American Legion offers a cash bar and will have several wines especially selected for the ball. Commemorative glasses will be available for sale at the door. Music will be provided by Cousin Curtis and the Cash Rebates. Doors open at 6 p.m., with cake served about 9 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, or $5 for ages 14 and under. The family price is $30. The public is welcome, and costumes are not required. No coolers or outside liquor are allowed.

Fastnacht in Maeystown
The day before Ash Wednesday activity at the church hall starts with a family style dinner of pancakes, sausage, applesauce and doughnuts from 5 to 8 pm and is accompanied by live entertainers providing German music. In keeping with German tradition, children will dress in costume and go “grebbling” door to door to collect dough-nuts, then come back to win votes in a costume contest. Grebbling starts at 5 pm in front of the church..
